We work virtually with small businesses throughout the United States.

Start with a free bookkeeping cleanup review

Not sure how much work your books need? We’ll take a look, identify areas that need attention and explain what it would take to get everything caught up. You’ll receive a clear quote before any cleanup work begins, with no obligation to move forward.

What your bookkeeping cleanup can include

The work depends on what we find in your review. Your cleanup may include:

  • Correcting duplicate, missing or incorrectly recorded transactions.

  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts with your statements.

  • Matching recorded customer payments to bank deposits.

  • Organizing your chart of accounts and income and expense categories.

  • Reviewing customer and vendor balances, invoices, payments and credits.

  • Reviewing how loans, interest, assets and payroll transactions are recorded.

  • Updating your profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports.

We’ll explain what’s included in your quote before work begins.

Once the cleanup is complete, we’ll schedule a one-hour meeting with you to review your financial reports.

You’ll have someone who takes the time to understand your business and what needs attention. You can call, text or email with questions. We’ll take ownership of working through the issues, follow up on what’s needed and keep you informed.

Bookkeeping and taxes work better together

Because we also prepare business tax returns, we understand how bookkeeping decisions can affect your taxes. As we clean up your books, we keep tax preparation in mind so your financial records are better organized for your accountant or tax preparer—even if you don’t use us for tax services.

Tax preparation is quoted separately from bookkeeping cleanup.

After cleanup, we can help keep your books current

If you’d like ongoing help, we can talk about a monthly bookkeeping plan for your business. You’ll have someone to turn to as questions come up throughout the year.

Monthly bookkeeping starts at $150/month. Cleanup is quoted separately, and we’ll explain the services and pricing for any ongoing support.

Questions about bookkeeping cleanup

What should I have ready for the review?

Let us know which bookkeeping software you use, what you’d like help with and whether you have a tax or reporting deadline coming up. If you’re not sure when your books were last reconciled, that’s okay. We’ll explain which records we need and how to share them.

How much does cleanup cost?

The review is free. Cleanup pricing depends on the period we’re reviewing, the accounts involved and the work needed. We’ll give you a quote that explains the scope before you decide to proceed.

How long will the cleanup take?

We’ll discuss timing after reviewing your books and the records available. Let us know about any deadline at the start so we can explain what’s realistic for your project.
